so my mom goes to her al-anon meetings, and there’s a mother and a daughter named lydia and lizzie. they’re apparently very quite, and nobody remembers which one is lizzie and which one is lydia.  but my mom remembers with “lizzie borden took an axe and gave her mother forty whacks.”
